Jillian Noel Hennessy

Jillian Noel Hennessy was born on November 25, 1968. She is a Canadian actor, singer and musician. She is most famous for her performances in the American television series Law & Order (where she played Claire Kincaid, a prosecutor) and Crossing Jordan (where she played Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons). She has also acted in films like RoboCop 3 and Most Wanted and also in the indie film Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class The Acting Class, which she also wrote and co-directed. Hennessy was born and raised in Edmonton. John Hennessy was her father. He was a meat marketer and an executive in sales and marketing. This position required lots of travel, which caused frequent family changes. Maxine, Maxine's mother died in the year 1982. She left her daughter in the care of Eleanor Her paternal grandmother. She has a younger brother, John Paul "J.P." Hennessy, Jr., and a identical twin sister, Jacqueline, who is an editor for magazines and a TV host in Canada. Hennessy is of Irish, French and Swedish descent, as well as Ukrainian Roma and Austrian ancestry. She attended Stanley Park Senior Public School and graduated from Grand River Collegiate Institute, both in Kitchener, Ontario, and used to busk on the Toronto subway. Hennessy and her sister made their acting debut as twin call girls in 1988's Dead Ringers. Gillian Anderson, who was the actress chosen to play the role, stated she was a finalist to be the character Dana Scully in The X-Files. The role was occupied for three seasons before she quit the show in the year 1996.
