Elizabeth Leigh Vassey

Elizabeth Leigh Vassey (born August 9 in 1972) is an American actress. Her credits include Emily Ann Sago in the television show All My Children, Captain Liberty in the 2001 TV show The Tick, Wendy Simms in the tv series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Nikki Beaumont in the web series Nikki & Nora. Vassey was the teenager Emily Ann Sago in All My Children between 1988 and 1991. Vassey appeared as a regular actor on the series Tru Calling from 2004 to 2005 as the character Dr. Carrie Allen. Vassey played Wendy Simms, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation's regular character between 2005 and 2010. Starting with the tenth season, Vassey was promoted to a regular cast member and started appearing in the opening credits. Entertainment Weekly reported on June 1, 2010 that Vassey was not returning for the show's 11th season. The actress appeared in one episode during that season.Vassey appeared on Joss Whedon's web-based musical Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog in the role of "Fury Leika". Vassey is married to David Emmerichs, a camera operator.In 2002, along with co-star Kristin Bauer, Vassey started a company called Neurosis to a T(ee) that makes and sells slogan-covered T-shirts for women. The slogans are humorous and poke fun at the neuroses and worries of women and often relate to relationships.
