Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Ann Vicie was born in 1987 on December 10, 1987. She is an American journalist. She works for the Fox NASCAR team as a reporter, and also hosts their weekly news and update show NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie was first drawn to stock car racing when she was granted a pit lane pass. After having graduated from Christopher Newport University she worked at Langley Speedway as a reporter. When SceneDaily published her self-made blogs on NASCAR her name was noticed. Vincie was born on December 10 of 1987 in Harrisonburg. She was born in Bridgewater, Virginia before her family moved to Warrenton to start her high school. Vincie is the daughter of John and Margaret Vincie and has one older sister. Vincie's maternal grandmother, Eleanor N. Logan, was a fifth-grade teacher as well as her grandfather who was a member of the faculty of Bridgewater College. Journalism was something she'd always had an interest in from the age of a child. Vincie completed her studies at Fauquier High School in 2006. Vincie participated in track and field competitions as well as was the manager of the school’s wrestling team for four seasons. She took home the 800m relay at the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie had a meeting with the journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and provided Vincie with an abundance of information. She earned a bachelor's degree from Christopher Newport University in 2010. Vincie was an intern for the university's Athletics Department. Vincie also held a similar position at the USAR Pro Cup Series, Charlotte Motor Speedway. After securing a pitlane pass for the NASCAR All-Star Race, Vincie wrote her senior thesis about gender inequality in auto racing. She cites Krista Voda and Wendy Venturini as her inspirations.
