Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols was the daughter of Alison Nichols and James Nichols. She was born in Augusta Maine. She is of French Canadian and English descent. Cony High School was her high school in Augusta. She graduated from the school with a math diploma as well as a competitive high jump. Columbia University in New York City was where she earned an honors degree in math and economics. She started modeling and launched a successful modeling career, working for prominent brands like Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch or L'Oreal. Rachel began to explore acting after being offered a part in the HBO drama Sex and the City (1998). This was her first audition. Her film debut came in the role of Jessica Matthews in the prequel Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry met Lloyd (2003). The film's success was further enhanced by the roles she played in films such as The Amityville Horror (2005), The Inside (2005), Alias (2001), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009), Criminal Minds (2005) (a repeated role as FBI Agent Ashley Seaver) and Conan the Barbarian (2011). She played the main role of police officer Kiera Cameron in the science-fiction series Continuum (2012).Attended and graduated from Columbia University with a double major in math and economics. She was a model for Guess? and Abercrombie & Fitch as well as L'Oreal, Nicole Miller, and L'Oreal. Her first audition was for a hostess in a restaurant for Sex and the City (1998).
