Rena Sherel SOFER

Rena Sherel Sfer is an American actress from the United States. She is most well-known for her roles on American daytime television, as well as occasional guest appearances on television and made-for-television films. Sofer was awarded an Daytime Emmy Award in 1995 for her performance as Lois Cerullo on the soap show General Hospital. She has been acting as Quinn Fuller since 2013 on CBS the soap show The Bold and The Beautiful. Sofer was born in Arcadia (California) to Susan Sofer and Martin Sofer. Martin Sofer is a Conservative Rabbi. Following the divorce of her parents the family relocated to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1970, Sofer emigrated with her brother David and her father to Teaneck in New Jersey. They resided in Western Pennsylvania when Sofer was five years old. The family was based in Ambridge Pennsylvania where their father was the director of the Beth Samuels Jewish Center. Then, she went to the Frisch School in Paramus, New Jersey, which is an co-educational Mordern Orthodox Jewish high-school. Sofer was raised in North Bergen where her father was the synagogue's rabbi Temple Beth El. After graduation from North Bergen High School she went to Montclair State College. Sofer was the first person to perform as Lois Marie Cerullo at General Hospital. The first time she appeared on the show was in 1993 as the manager of the band. Her first television role was as Rocky McKenzie, a daytime soap hosting host. One of her most well-known roles is that of Lois Cerullo, a nurse on General Hospital from December 15 from 1993 until September 24 in 1996. In the following years, she was an actor on the show (February 7-17, 1997 September 30th to October 2nd , 1997). In 1995, Sofer won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series for her performance as Lois. Sofer was asked to join CBS the soap show The Bold and the Beautiful in the new role in the role of Quinn Fuller. Her first episode aired on July 12. Sofer has appeared as a guest actor/supporting cast member in a variety of primetime high-profile TV shows, including Seinfeld and Melrose Place. The first episode of her debut aired on July 12.
