Ayelet Zurer

Ayelet Zurer is among Israel's most acclaimed actresses. She was born in Tel Aviv and was first discovered by Hollywood when Steven Spielberg cast her in her first role in English as Eric Bana’s wife in Munich (2005). Zurer has been featured in numerous Studio films since arriving in the United States, including Sony Pictures' Vantage Point opposite William Hurt and Dennis Quaid, Samuel Goldwyn's Fugitive Parts opposite Stephen Dillane, Paul Schrader’s Adam Resurrected in the role of Jeff Goldblum, and Willem Dafoe. Ron Howard's Angeles and Demons is opposite Tom Hanks. Darling companion Lawrence Kasdan's cast, stars Diane Keaton and Kevin Kline, and Warner Bros. Man Of Steel, opposite Russell Crow, is Ron Howard. Ewan McGregor was her co-filming partner in Rodrigo Garces' Last Days in Desert. She also waited patiently for The Last Knights to be released by Kazuaki Kriya, the Japanese director. She recently won the Gold Nymph Award for Outstanding Actress in a Drama Series at the 54th Festival of TV of Monte-Carlo for her role in the television series "Hostages". Ayelet received nominations for the Israeli Film and Television Academy Award in recognition of her work in Nina's Tragedies. Ayelet was also nominated due to her roles in film Only Dogs Run Free and The Dybuk, from Holy Apple Field, Desperado and Rutenberg. She was awarded the Haifa International Film Festival critic award and was awarded a star on Haifa's "film boulevard" for her achievements in the local and international arenas. Zurer was also awarded the Israeli Television Academy Award for her performance on "In Treatment", an internationally acclaimed television show that has been adapted to American TV by HBO. She was also nominated for apposite in 2014's year's best drama "Shtisel" as well as she was named the best actress in drama for her role as a brilliant surgeon who is facing the death-and-life dilemma in Hostages. The show was licensed to BBC4 and Canal Plus and the American ABC. The "face " of one of Israel's top female-focused fashion houses- Golbary. She is a producer and writer. Ayelet has created a number of her projects in Israel as well as in the US and expressed an desire to collaborate internationally with directors from all overthe world, including writers and directors who are not well-known.
