Anne W. Burrell was TV personality and ex-chef of the Institute of Culinary Education and formerly teaches cooking. Anne W. Burrell is host on Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on Food Network. Food Network, as well as co-hosting Worst Cooks in America. After graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany as well as La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) as she attended an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. The chef gained an knowledge of Italian culinary and cultural traditions while in Italy and this has affected the way she cooks. Burrell is a well-known ambassador to the Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation. She was a part of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which assists children with obstacles. Burrell speaks on her culinary passion and shares her expertise in the culinary world, as she regularly travels throughout the US in various roles such as speakers and mentors. Anne has, through her whole cooking journey, has said that it's a pleasure to be in a position to share her passion for life with others.
